Blue Yonder Job Title: Staff Data Engineer
Overview:
- This is a Senior Data Engineer Role with the LCT Analytics Team. The team is looking to bolster their existing Data Engineering expertise.
- Seeking an individual that has an excellent hands-on experience with various Database Technologies (Synapse, Snowflake, MySQL) and has hands-on with Power BI. Supply Chain Industry experience is a huge plus.
Scope:
- Core responsibilities include understanding and analyzing data (for a Cloud native and multi-tenant application). So heavy emphasis on analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The team is a small team of 10 members mostly based out of Dallas.
What you’ll do: (Responsibilities)
- Design and development of new features on the product
- Contribute to the performance improvements & security enhancements on the product
- Design and develop data-intensive distributed solutions in Python
- Handle customer interactions for technical problems. Should respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Build and Maintain Power BI reports
What we are looking for: (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of experience in Software development.
- Strong programming experience in Python. Experience with machine learning and AI systems preferred
- Excellent SQL, Python and Power BI skills
