Brief Description:
You should be highly analytical with an expert level of analysis, mathematics, and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for machine learning and research and sharing insights with the broader CIB Data & Analytics team as well as business stakeholders.
Job Description:
- Preferred: Honours in Computer Science, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering
- Related Data Science Certifications
- 5 - 7 years in data science or data analytics experience
- Knowledge of R, SQL, and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java, or C++ is an asset
- Related Data Science Certifications
- Development of machine learning algorithms (regression/classification/clustering) by leveraging existing information, external data, and other sources to extract insight and solve business problems
- Development of predictive models to enhance customer, product, and colleague insights
- Support the operational teams through transforming data into insights
- Analyzing data, interpreting its trends, and validating the data.
- Use a data-oriented approach to work with others in solving complex business problems around profitability, marketing, risk, and operational analysis
- Data Manipulation, Analysis, and Data Extraction for Forecasting, Predicting, and Model Building.
