Responsibilities
- As a Data Engineer you will translate business challenges into reusable integration components and composable API-driven enterprise architectures
- You will design and build complex data integration solutions using tools like Mulesoft, Informatica, Snaplogic, Apigee etc.
- Part of your job will be implementation of data-driven use cases leveraging business data residing in other systems, applications, data warehouses or data lakes
- Additionally, you will specify, build and test REST APIs

Qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or comparable courses
- You have hands-on experience in integration with webservices (REST/SOAP), good understanding of REST API design (HTTP, Swagger, RAML) and data exchange formats (JSON, XML, CSV)
- You are familiar with some integration platforms, tools and API hosting frameworks (TIBCO, BOOMI, Informatica, WSO2, Apigee, Talend, API Gateway), also know how and when to apply popular integration patterns
- You are a strong team player with good communication skills. Very good spoken and written English is a must, German will be a nice to have
