In this exciting role as a Senior Principal Quality Data Engineer you will have responsibility for transforming the way Operations Quality utilizes data by creating opportunities to drive automation, models and insights, through artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining and natural image processing.

A Day in the Life

  • Thought leader in the field of Machine Learning and Data Science, enabling adoption of Data Science within company to solve Operations Quality problems.
  • Develops and programs integrated software algorithms to structure, analyze and leverage data in product and systems applications in both structured and unstructured environments.
  • Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions and recommends solutions to quality problems through use of data.
  • Develops and communicates descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive insights/algorithms.
  • Uses machine language and statistical modeling techniques such as decision trees, logistic regression, Bayesian analysis and others to develop and evaluate algorithms to improve product/system performance, quality, data management and accuracy.
  • Conducts Data Mining, Data Wrangling to provide insights on quality related issues.
  • Uses current programming language and technologies to translate algorithms and technical specifications into code.
  • Applies deep learning technologies to give computers the capability to visualize, learn and respond to complex situations.
  • Adapts machine learning to areas such as virtual reality, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, robotics and other products that allow users to have an interactive experience.
  • Works with large scale computing frameworks, data analysis systems and modeling environments.

Responsibilities may also include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
  • Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
  • May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science or Technical field with 10+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Data Analytics and/or Regulated industry OR Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science or Technical field with 8+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Data Analytics and/or Regulated industry
