Job Description: As a Data Engineer, you're skilled in building a warehouse of data from multiple sources to support business decisions and analytics for key stakeholders. Beyond simply extracting, transforming, and loading data, you have a passion for creating organizational change and an appreciation of scalable data solutions and reusable dimensional models. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines including solutions for data collection, management, and usage.
• Enhance and expand our data warehouse.
• Create semantic layer data models to support business units.
• Develop and implement solutions for data quality validation.
• Partner with engineers, data team members, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements, plan and execute projects, and communicate status, risks, and issues.
• Perform root cause analysis of system and data issues and develop solutions when necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Spark, and Azure Analytics stack.
• Experience with ETL data pipelining concept.
• Experience working in software engineering, and can demonstrate best practices for project management, quality control, version control, and product development.

Cherry On Top

• Experience building APIs and services using REST.
• Experience with Kimball Dimensional Modeling.
