DATA ANALYST
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Data Analyst will work with the Data and Assessment Coordinator to identify new ways to assess, visualize, and use our data. The NDA is responsible for the production of scheduled and ad hoc data reporting requests. This includes the collection and analysis of data to identify trends across our network as well as the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards to share this analysis. Tableau, SQL, Google Data Studio, Google Big Query, Google Sheets, and Excel expertise are preferred.
The National Data Analyst is responsible for four main areas: Management of existing data collection systems and analysis, analysis of assessment data, ad-hoc data support to regional and school leaders, and working with the Data and Assessment Coordinator to build out our network wide dashboards.
LOCATION: This position works remotely, some travel will be required. Candidate must have a a dedicated work space and be equipped with computer, phone, and high-speed internet.
DO YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- Achieved significant academic gains as a teacher in his or her own right
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing data and using results to modify curricula and instruction to ensure increased student mastery in his or her own classroom
- Experience leading professional development or teacher collaboration
- Fluency with or a willingness to learn about technology applications used to collect, store and process data such as, but not limited to: Student Information Systems, education applications and assessments, Google Sheets, Google Data Studio, Big Query, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, SQL
