Job description

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join a project, with the goal of analyzing whether the electricity systems are sufficiently dimensioned for the growth in traffic. Therefore, an electrotechnical knowledge is an advantage for modeling the power systems.

You will be acquiring, viewing and connecting new data sources from various business areas. Additionally, you will deal with the electrotechnical modeling / calculation of capacities in the power grid. You need to have previous experience with analyzing and planning tasks as well as model development for the capacity comparison between current electricity systems and future energy requirements. Further responsibilities would be to interpret and check the plausibility of the results and also to record analysis / modeling requirements from the project team. You should be able to implement the requirements in R, Python and SQL, and integrate new data sources into the data model. The visualization of the results and data storytelling for the project manager and project team would be another task.
