Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work directly with project teams as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and individual contributor to perform tasks related to the analytical interpretation of various data types and sources.
- Develop computationally efficient algorithms and programming procedures for cleaning, shaping, and analyzing data.
- Use statistical & data analysis software to analyze data and visualize inferences.
- Develop and deploy relational and dimensional data models including, but not limited to, those rooted in linear & logistic regression, machine learning/AI, and classification.
- Draft, edit, author, and present reports that include both technical and summary-level data interpretations.
- Assist in administration of a data lake including the creation and/or maintenance of pipelines, views, and reports.

Education and Experience:
Education and/or Experience – Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field including, but not limited to, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. The preferred candidate will likely possess a graduate degree in a quantitative scientific field and/or will have 2-5 years of professional experience.
Familiar with data analysis applications including, but not limited to, R, Python, TensorFlow, Power BI, and Jupyter (or equivalents). The preferred candidate will have experience working with and/or studying these applications.
Familiar with data management applications including, but not limited to, SQL, Azure, and PowerQuery. The preferred candidate will have experience working with and/or studying these applications.
The preferred candidate will have experience innovating and delivering creative data-driven solutions and will be motivated to continuously learn techniques that improve our data operations.
