- You will make it easy for the rest of the engineers to make data-driven decisions when it comes to evaluating new features and performance improvements
- You will design, build and maintain data models and ETL and ML pipelines
- You will extend and scale our data warehouse
- You will work closely with the operations research engineers on identifying new data sources and extracting value from them.
- You will play a key part in productionizing machine learning models
- You will be the first data engineer in a team of operations research engineers, back-end engineers and front-end engineers so you are motivated to shape your own role as well as the company’s data practices
- Contribute in a cross-functional team
- 2+ years of experience as a data engineer (m/f/d) or in a similar role
- You enjoy teaching the rest of the team on your work and you see yourself as a multiplier that can make the whole engineering team better by making clean data easily available
- You ideally have some experience with AWS and AWS data services like Athena, Redshift, S3, Glue & QuickSight
- You are able to build state of the art data pipelines using e.g. Argo Workflows and k8s
- You should know hot to setup a cloud infrastructure with tools like Terraform and Helm
- Knowledge of and interest in machine learning
- Permanent residence in Germany
