As an experienced Data Scientist, you will help Serco develop the use of data science as a new capability, by supporting Enterprise Workforce Solution (EWS) to consolidate its value proposition as the Workforce Management Knowledge Centre / Hub.
Key deliverables from this role will be the re-development of the forecasting processes across specific Citizen Services contracts, including the enhancement of forecasting process using predictive and / or prescriptive analytics.
Your experience in data mining, machine learning and predictive / prescriptive analytics will help create a model / product that predicts trends and behavior patterns.
Your ability to utilize prescriptive analytics will enable and support further analysis including the understanding behaviours within the context of workflow.
About the Role
Reporting to the Workforce Optimisation Director (EWS) the objective of this role is to use data science, including a wide range of analysis skills such as data mining, machine learning, and predictive and prescriptive analytics to allow the organization to make critical decisions that are data driven.
You will support the development of systems to identify and automate complex processes and workflows at Serco including the Long-Term Forecast process (that supports our Government contracts).
