We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join our growing team of talented Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists. We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong mathematical background who will help us take our Analytics offering to the next level employing state of the art machine learning and AI models. Someone with a “can do” attitude who is not afraid to fail, with a proven track record of solutions on real world data and an innovative mindset.
Responsibilities
Work with product managers and domain experts to perform data studies and analysis on HCM and WFM datasets to identify meaningful business opportunities
Apply statistics, machine learning, and a variety of other techniques to analyze the data, generate models, and prototype new AI solutions
Build production quality prototypes and collaborate with engineering resources to implement the solution in a scalable cloud framework like Google’s Vertex AI
Communicate findings to stakeholders and a broader audience of technical and non-technical persons.
Thrive in different working environments. Both in independent, self-driven, research and development, and in collaborative, team-driven, projects.
Qualifications
Education and experience in a quantitative field. PhD, or master’s degree, plus 3-5 years of experience preferred.
Substantial depth in at least 1-2 machine learning or AI subfields, including but not limited to regression, classification, deep learning, time-series analysis, clustering, NLP, transfer learning, etc.
SQL, Or Experience With Another Database Technology.
Python, or experience with another scripting language such as Scala. Experience with programming packages like Pandas is desired.
Willingness to learn new tools as they become needed.
Practical ability to visualize data, communicate meaningful business insights, and utilize them effectively.
Programming experience and the ability to rapidly develop prototypes of new solutions
Experience with big data tools and frameworks, such as Cloud ML, Big Query a plus
Experience with ML Models deployed in SAAS applications, is a plus
