LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU
Your profile
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field
Extensive experience leading data architecture and data-related initiatives and managing a data operations team
Sound understanding and knowledge of data acquisition, data modeling and analytics
Extensive experience in data & analytics and data architecture and at least 3+ years of experience as a team leader
Knowledge of database and data warehouse modeling
Experience developing streaming and batch data pipelines for cloud and hybrid infrastructures
Experience with streaming frameworks (e.g. AWS IoT stack)
Hands-on experience with modern software development tools.
Knowledge of data analytics and ability to slice and dice data as needed
Experience with cloud providers in data architecture (e.g., AWS)
Knowledge of data warehouses that support analytical workloads
Extensive and in-depth experience working with ETL
Your responsibilities
Lead a team of data engineers focused on leveraging data and information across the SE to improve data related operations and gain risk related insights
Drive technical implementation and accountability for strategy and execution
Define the scope of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for upcoming initiatives and outline future roadmap for enhancements and potential improvements
Collaborate with data owners on planning and execution of key initiatives
Oversee the performance and quality of integration pipelines created in close collaboration with the data integration team
Drive architecture design and discussions with guidance from the teams
Drive data literacy towards visualization through self-service capabilities for end users
Advocate for modern software development methodologies and champion Scrum and SAFe
Conduct code reviews and ensure teams adhere to appropriate standards
Document and present methods, procedures, and project deliverables to senior stakeholders in various functions
