Key Responsibilities
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll be responsible for...
- Design, develop, release and maintain reliable, secure and scalable machine learning solutions in a cloud environment.
- Build reliable, secure, and scalable data pipelines and production-ready ML pipelines that allow our data scientists to bring ML models to production quickly and responsibly.
- Identify business and technical requirements to help define a robust data extraction & transformation process, collaborating with data science, product, and other technical teams.
- Develop data workflow monitoring and alerting solutions that provide diagnostic & actionable information to stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with Data Engineering, ML Engineering, and DevOps to resolve issues and standardise practices.
- Guide and coach data scientists to help them develop their engineering skills.
- Engineering experience with Python preferably in machine learning-related projects. Data scientists or Data Engineers looking to switch roles will also be considered.
- Understanding of machine learning models. Would be able to create or explain simple ML Models without Data Science input (linear/logistic regression, decision trees etc.)
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the product development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, pair programming, build processes, testing, operations, and CI/CD.
- A caring attitude towards the personal and professional development of the wider team and enthusiasm for nurturing a collaborative and dynamic culture.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders with diverse cultural backgrounds and in different geographies.
- Excellent SQL skills.
- Experienced deploying containerised microservices with Docker on Kubernetes.
- Any experience with recommendation systems
- Writing Python for high performance
- .NET Experience
