MRM is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to drive measurement, analysis, and insights supporting marketing campaigns and customer experiences for some of the world’s most recognizable global brands. As a key contributor for the Performance Analytics team, you will perform in-depth analysis on marketing performance to guide investments and optimization. The ideal candidate will be fluent in the use of data to drive decision-making while being a strong communicator and storyteller. You will report to the Director, Performance Analytics.
Responsibilities
- Provide data-driven insights and optimization recommendations to business stakeholders as it relates to marketing campaigns
- Develop reporting and dashboards that effectively facilitate collective understanding of underlying performance drivers and deliver actionable insights to inform business decisions
- Define and execute progressive learning roadmaps used to build a strong body of insights and key learnings driving client business
- Lead clients in the defining of KPIs, measurement methodology, and technical requirements
- Synthesize learnings and present them to business stakeholders
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in marketing analytics or similar role, working with large, differentiated data sets.
- Experience B2B marketing methodologies and metrics strongly recommended
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills including analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and synthesizing recommendations.
- Use analytical approaches to real business situations - the data is messy, inputs are different, and there are lots of nuances
- Experience in database querying
- Familiarity with the various types of data including behavioral (web) analytics, CRM, media, search, and marketing automation data.
- Experience with data visualization tools preferably Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Working knowledge across a range of marketing disciplines including digital advertising, digital experience, content, and social
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills; experience presenting complex concepts in simple ways within high-profile, high-pressure situations to executive audiences
- Excellent multi-tasking, time management, and project management skills.
- Strong background in measurement methodologies including tagging and tracking
- Strength in developing data strategy deliverables involving the creation of scalable digital taxonomies
