Your Role and Responsibilities

This development role within Kyndryl’s Real Estate and Data Center Services (RDC) organization will help shape the team’s Data Science practice through the development, testing and deployment of advanced data products that combine sound statistics and quantitative methods with modern technology tools to model, measure and predict critical business processes to optimize operational performance.
Working along-side a team of Product Owners, Data Analysts, Data Engineers and our CIO organization, the successful candidate will excel at summarizing and presenting findings to non-technical business stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities
Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
Combine models through ensemble modeling
Present information using data visualization techniques
Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

Qualifications
BSc/BA in Statistics, Math, Analytics or relevant field; Data Science experience a plus
Analytical mind and strong business acumen
Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
Knowledge of R, SQL and Python;
Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI)
Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
Problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience in data mining
