• Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN (hybrid or remote)

Senior Data Analyst :

The Senior Data Analyst role will involve working with the product owner to understand the business request and product need, perform a detailed analysis of the requirements and data, and create user stories that will result in the data outcomes required. This position combines business process and data knowledge with experience in information technology to enable and improve business capabilities.

What you’ll do as the Senior Data Analyst:

• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions using data analysis and data profiling
• Gather critical information from multiple stakeholders to specify and validate business reporting or data extracts using data mapping and data quality techniques
• Establish accurate data definitions and producing audience appropriate data models for the business or project domain
• Coordinate and assist developers and QA analysts to ensure data is accurately recorded and used
• Actively engaged as a core member of scrum teams to deliver on data programs\projects.
• Create and maintain source-to-target mapping documents
• Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff
• Manage projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance

What you’ll bring to the Senior Data Analyst role:

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in software development and database applications with most of this experience in data strategy, sourcing, modeling, integration, and architecture
• Strong knowledge of SQL and query tools
• Experience in the healthcare payer domain
• Experience in data analysis, data profiling, data mapping, and data quality
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• Familiarity with technology and data management principles
• Excellent documentation skills
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
• Planning, organizational, and time management skills
