Data Engineer, Mid

We’re looking for someone like you to ensure our clients meet their mission by supporting national security.

This is an opportunity to support data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. Driving Aerospace data maturity, you’ll have the chance to build out ETL pipelines and build data models. From performing analytical exploration and examination of data to leading the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms, you’ll guide your clients to solve their most pressing challenges.

You Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Talend
• Knowledge of full data processing pipeline from ingestion, transformation, storage, analysis, and visualization
• Knowledge of ETL tools including NiFi, Dagster, or AirFlow
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with data science tools, including Python, R, or Jupyter
• Experience with data platforms, including Databricks or the IBM Watson Data Platform
• Ability to work independently and define project objectives and milestones
• Ability to communicate data engineering issues and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to collaborate effectively with data managers, data scientists and solutions architects
• Solutions Architect Certification on a cloud platform, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
