What You'll Do (Job Summary and Key Roles & Responsibilities)
Job Summary
As a lead data visualization analyst, you will be the technical expert in different visualization projects in Kerry. In this role, you will intensively involve in inhouse report and dashboard design, development, and deployment. You will be responsible for the maintenance and support of the visualization platform serving multiple business unites data visualization needs.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Work with business stakeholders to create and publish Business Intelligent dashboards using Tableau or other visualization reporting tools– from ideation, to Proof-of-Concept design, to publishing the final product
Curate data from multiple disparate sources and develop strategies for standardizing and consolidating data sets across the business
Provide training, guidance and coaching to business users with company visualization & reporting tool
Manage multiple projects / deadlines, identifying the critical path and moving forward through completion
Analyzing and modelling data to unlock key insights - Partnering with key business stakeholders to support their analytical and reporting needs
Automating manual processes to provide robust reporting workflow
Self-management with adapts and leading the team to change in routine with positive attitude when working in fast paced situations
Provide guidance to junior team members as to achieve common team objectives
Maintain regular communication and escalation channels to both business and technical owners
Working with external vendors and consultants on the managing on the requirements, design and development validation, testing on the dashboard developments
Co-ordinate daily visualization platform support and operation
Who You'll Work With
This role will have regular exposure to technology stakeholders, peers and IT team leaders, as well as visualization tools service providers who involve in large scale data visualization projects.
Who You Are (Education, Experience, Professional Qualifications etc.)
Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
Solid experience in dashboard design and development by Tableau or other visualization reporting tools
5-8 year of experience in BI projects with solid development experience in delivering reports and dashboards using advanced features such as level-of-details, data blending, complex parameter interactions
Hands-on experience in Tableau workbook design and deployment
Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL, relational databases and/or data warehouse
Demonstrate data visualization best practices and able to define visualization standards
An ability to troubleshooting performance and data issues
Good communication skills and team player
Lead a small team to deliver visualization project
Proactive and willing to learn
Project experience in design and developing management dashboards in large enterprise
Tableau server administration and operation support
Tableau certified associate
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chines (Cantonese and Mandarin)
