We are looking for a creative problem solver to join our team and help us in attracting new customers, creating a personalized experience for our key target customer groups and driving the business with data-driven insights. You will develop innovative systems to automate marketing campaigns, design a tailored user experience for each customer and question the existing decision-making processes with advanced analytics solutions. Areas of focus will include bidding, budgeting, audiences & segmentation, creative optimization, user journey optimization, cross-channel optimization, targeting optimization and multi-touch attribution.

What you'll be doing

  • Drive the decision-making process on marketing topics via data analysis and statistics.
  • Maintain real-time data pipelines and third party APIs to keep our marketing data domain up to date.
  • Regularly share insights from our customers behaviors & journeys to grow and optimize our marketing efforts as well as identify optimal communication channels and strategies.
  • Foster an experimentation mindset and build processes for developing hypotheses and A/B testing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement and improve data-driven solutions around Marketing automation.
  • Learn, share, and brainstorm with other data analysts inside and outside of our company.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership, design, product and engineering teams.

What you bring to the table

  • Around three years experience in a Data Analytics related role, preferably in (Online-) Marketing.
  • Experience in defining KPIs and measuring effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • First experience with the ecosystem of apps and services around advertising, e.g. Google Analytics
  • Degree in Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar; further education in the Data Science field is of benefit.
  • Intuition for business drivers combined with a data-driven mindset.
  • Problem solving from a business idea to a functioning data solution.
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.
  • Experience with common data science toolkits, programming languages, visualization tools and SQL databases.
