Data Science Senior Advisor

What you’ll achieve
As a Data Science Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for contributing to business strategy and influence decision-making based on information gained from deep dive analysis. You will produce actionable and compelling recommendations by interpreting insights from complex data sets. You will design processes to consolidate and examine unstructured data to generate actionable insights. You will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of analytics solutions end to end, as a trusted analytics partner to our internal customers to support business decisions. You will work with our Legal professionals and in-house lawyers to unlock the value of data and transform it through collection, interpretation, visualization and publication of data to provide insights, manage key risks for the company and enhance legal services provided to business stakeholders, whilst promoting a data driven culture.
You will:
Establish key advisory relationships to collaborate, partner and problem solve, providing an end-to-end customer experience from scoping and identifying pain points to the delivery and adoption of solutions with success measure criteria.
Conduct a full lifecycle of activities from scoping business needs, designing analytics, deployment of solutions and change management.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to understand customer requirements and develop analytics solutions using big data technology and business intelligence platforms.
Develop and apply a broad range of techniques and theories from statistics, machine learning, and BI to deliver actionable business insights while creating new, experimental frameworks to collect data and build tools to automate data collection; Develop and drive testing of algorithms efficacy for differing analytical use-cases.
Performs end-to-end steps involved in model development while establishing subject-matter expertise. Search through large data sets for usable information and deliver business impact, support decision making and drive actionable insights.

Essential Requirements
Total 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist and 3+ years of consulting experience or a direct customer-facing role.
Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Python, R, SAS, SPSS and Scala; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with machine learning, AI, data management tool, performing exploratory data analysis.
Ability to visualize data in the most effective way possible for a given project or study and communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way to a non-technical audience. Solid statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of industry trends along with excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Desirable Requirements
Familiarity developing analytics solutions for Legal subject matters such as Compliance, Risk Assessment, Sales Contracts, Litigation and Legal Spend.
Knowledge of data governance processes and key controls/measures to assess data quality.
