Position Details

The Business Systems team is looking for a Business Data Analyst to join the team! The Business Data Analyst will be responsible for organizational performance measures reporting, working with various Portfolios. They will also support the organizational data strategy and be involved with the development/maintenance of the management systems/processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Reporting of strategic measures and funding agreement performance measures
• Supporting teams with tracking measures/KPIs
• Analysis of performance measures
• Survey analysis and reporting
• Participating in the development of the organizational data strategy and support once operationalized
• Business Intelligence reporting to provide key insights to teams for improved planning
• Providing insight into other management systems/processes by bringing forward data strategy and performance measures expertise

• Post-Secondary degree: Bachelor of Science, Commerce or Arts with a major in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or another quantitative field
• 2-3 years of experience in a research environment conducting data analysis
• Proficiency with data/analytical tools and reporting (e.g. Power BI, R, advanced Excel)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
• Ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision
• Ability to critically assess complex/dynamic situations and communicating this clearly to the appropriate audience(s).
