Role summary:Within our Data team we are looking for Data Engineers (Senior Consultant , Managing Consultant and Principal Consultant) to work as part of our growing data practice. Key responsibilities:Work on hard problems with smart peopleBe highly motivated, result-oriented, and take pride in being a problem solverWork with new technology, focus on using the right tool for the job, rather than any sticky preference for a tool or technologyLearn and share knowledge across our engineering teams, so we can continue to iterate and improveWrite reusable, testable, and efficient code as neededDesign and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performant database systemsWork on implementation of data pipelines/data warehouses/data marts/ODSs/LakehousesCollaborate and work on integration of data storage solutionsFocus on performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability and automationEssential SkillsExtensive data engineering experience-- preferably in consulting or financial servicesSuccess working within 1 of the following Data Engineering/Management technology areas, including but not limited to:Experience with ETL tools (Talend, DataStage, Matillion, Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc)Experience developing ETL Data Pipelines and Data Model solutions for integrating new data sets into a data platform from different sources.Experience implementing enterprise systemsExperience designing data lakes, data warehouses and data martsExperience developing real time ETL solutions (Kafka, Kinesis, etc)Strong knowledge of RDBS systems (Oracle preferred)Cloud Data Platforms across Azure and/or AWS (Synapse, Redshift, etc.)Strong data modelling skillsExperience writing and supporting Python code, Spark, Scala, RExperience developing complex SQL queriesPL/SQL development experience with enterprise software systemsExperience developing Shell scripts and Python programs to automate tasksKnowledge of BI Solutions (MS Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, etc.)Who We Are:Delta Capita Group is a global managed services, consulting and solutions provider with a unique combination of experience in Financial Services and technology innovation capability.
