What you will be doing
- Designing and iterating on a performant, scalable data platform
- Building out and improving the data platform
- Automating testing, deployment, and monitoring of ELT jobs
- Building Pipelines and dashboards
- Communicating and collaborating with stakeholders and other colleagues
You will need
- Python or another object oriented language
- SQL and relational database knowledge
- Experience with data lakes, warehousing, and other data storage patterns
- Experience with big-data tools like Spark, Presto, Athena
- Experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau or similar
It would also be a plus if you have experience with
- Streaming technologies like Kafka
- Orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect
- Cloud Technologies, particularly AWS
- Devops Tools, Concepts & Practices
- CI/CD tools like Gitlab or CircleCI
