The Real World Evidence Senior Data Scientist on the MI team is responsible for distilling ideas into clearly defined questions or probe to understand the asks clearly. Applying clinical knowledge or compiled research towards designing analyses and solutions based on available data (patient level claims or competitive clinical trials) that can be standalone or incorporated into strategy development for clinical trial development, site selection, outcomes research or descriptive analyses of the disease progression, patient treatment journeys or disease natural history. Coming up with innovative and/or standardizing methods or modules.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with patient level healthcare data.
- 5+ years of programming experience in data manipulation.
- 5+ years of experience in understanding and translating clinical aspects of diseases as well as disease management to reflect the same in healthcare data.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Expertise in at least one statistical software package, preferably R or SAS.
- Strong skills in MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proven expertise in interpreting questions or ideas into requirements, analysis plan and subsequently answers.
- Able to translate clinical objectives into actionable analyses.
- Able to communicate findings clearly to non-technical audiences in oral as well as written presentations.
- Attention to details that are critical in arriving to correct conclusions.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a dynamic project team members.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Organized and flexible team player that is able to assess priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- BS/MS in a quantitative discipline: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering.
