Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to join the West Suffolk Care Group at the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust. The role would suit an individual who possesses a good level and understanding of Excel. The ideal candidate will have experience of communicating complex data sets to non-technical staff and developing Excel dashboards.

We use data creatively and intuitively, so that we can monitor performance against our KPI's and develop effective strategies to improve the patient experience.

Main duties of the job

What is a typical day? We rely on data heavily, so you must be both reactive and proactive in developing and managing reports for use by managers and the Business Support team. You will engage and support clinicians, administrators and managers, you will be the lead for a number of reporting profiles and you will be the point of contact for Lorenzo (our clinical system).

What is expected of me? We are looking for a candidate who has a good level of MS Excel, they will be able to process raw data from other systems and create bespoke reports, a good knowledge of Pivot Tables/PowerPivot and the ability to present data in an easy to read format is essential.

Whilst currently we can support some remote working, our office is based in Bury St Edmunds and the expectation is that the candidate will work from this office on a number of days per week.
