Job Description
You’ll be powering eCommerce
As a Commercial Data Engineer, you’ll be building the foundation of our commercial data infrastructure; something that will allow us to unleash the power of data and derive insights that will help us steer Nets to double-digit growth in eCommerce. Your key tasks and responsibilities are:
As our Commercial Data Engineer your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain the centralized data platform. The job includes tasks like:
Build and maintain large scale data pipelines
Identify, collect, and integrate data from various sources by building high quality data pipelines for analytical purposes
Set up testing and tooling to continuously improve data quality
Create value for Group eCom by identifying opportunities and enabling data-driven decision-making
Make a significant impact by being one of the key players in developing high-quality European Commercial reporting
Qualifications

Skilled with formulating clear problem statements, structuring complex problems, and identifying logical work packages to answer them
The ability to communicate complex topics in a simple manner
Self-starter who is not afraid to take the steering wheel and lead on projects
A positive team player who is structured, pragmatic and enjoys getting things done effectively
Your qualifications include:
You have at least two years of experience working with data platform engineering or the likes of it.
You either have an education in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or Data Science or have experience that is equal from “The School of Life”
Experience with some parts of the tech stack is a must. That being Python, SQL, batch and data streaming tooling, Data Ops, CI/CD, Cloud architecture, or other aspects that will ensure that we can complete the mission from a tech point of view.
Knowledge of working on remote servers like Linux
Familiarity with processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management
