Data Analyst

The Data Analyst position receives, validates, updates and verifies data. Operates data entry devices to input records, lists or other data points into an electronic format. Is responsible for complicated data entry projects as well as ensuring the correct data has been loaded.

Review and facilitate the resolution of data issues stemming from incomplete or missing files, failed jobs, bad data, etc. Act as the primary contact within the Professional Services team by conducting data loads, validations and quality assurance. Will help to identify and report bugs, user-interface problems, documentation, or other potential problems related to bulk import and product functionality.

Day to Day Responsibilities & Key Tasks:

• Own and conduct a variety of data load and quality assurance activities for customer implementations
• Using the bulk import and update functionality, load and modify customer data to support on-boarding projects and change requests.
• Leverage existing API and scripting functionality to update and create data in customer environments.
• Ensure that all data loads and updates are delivered on-time and within scope
• Validate data loads and updates match the specifications provided
• Thoroughly Review and validate customer configurations to ensure functional requirements & specifications are in alignment
• Report quality assurance issues to the implementation project manager for resolution
• Work collaboratively as part multiple customer on-boarding project teams
• Suggest improvements to process and identify technical gaps for resolution

About You/Skills & Requirements

• Prior experience in some of the following areas: customer success, implementation, support, technology or operational consulting
• Strong MS Excel skills and experience in data manipulation & validation using various formulas/functions (ie: VLOOKUP, TRIM, etc)
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software and web technologies
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Sheets
• Experience in a B2B software environment
• Bonus - Understanding of SaaS and APIs
