Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate full-time Data Scientist to join our team. You will be a crucial member of the operations team, navigating through diverse data landscapes and driving us toward informed decision-making. Your expertise in data gathering and analysis will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven operations and strategies. The ideal candidate will weave through data, extract insights, and present findings in a clear and concise manner to facilitate strategic developments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement processes for data acquisition, data management, and ensuring data quality.
• Work closely with various teams to understand their data needs and ensure they have the right data at the right time.
• Utilize statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to analyze and interpret complex datasets.
• Design, create, and maintain dynamic dashboards that provide insights into key business metrics and performance indicators.
• Regularly review and refine data processes and models to ensure they continue to meet business needs.

About you

You’ll fit right in on the Campus Ops team if you are/have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a data science or analytical role.
• Experience with Python and SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools and creating dashboards to represent complex data in an understandable format.
• A knack for problem-solving, with an ability to navigate through complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
• A keen attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and integrity in all tasks and outputs.

Location

• This opportunity is based in New York City (Manhattan).
• We currently operate on a hybrid work schedule of three days in-office, two days remote.
