Your day to day
In your day to day role you will:
- Dive into extensive datasets, defining, and tracking essential KPIs to drive actionable insights for informed business decisions.
- Develop controls and monitoring dashboards to ensure performance against business goals, regulatory requirements, and business priorities.
- Architect and oversee the entire data infrastructure lifecycle, ensuring seamless automation of processes from end to end, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead or participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to risk management, and operations optimization, leveraging data-driven approaches to address specific business challenges or opportunities.
- Collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across departments.
- Analyze reports and other essential intelligence while also providing context for trends and patterns within those reporting packages.
- Perform ongoing analysis of program-related data (KPIs) and trends. Develop ad-hoc reports as requested to support oversight of GFCCP.
- Meet regularly with global teams to communicate process changes, and improve standards and procedures.
- Use data to help management and operations identify and escalate business issues and opportunities.
- 5+ years of experience in analytics and data science.
- High proficiency in Big Query, SQL, Python, and Excel.
- Expertise in building interactive dashboards using visualization tools like Tableau & PowerBi.
- Proficiency in automating routine tasks.
- Ability to see the bigger picture, plan, and deliver accordingly.
- Comfortable with basic statistics; exhibit critical and analytical thinking, with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Experience in leading and delivering end-to-end Business Intelligence Solutions (requirement gathering, analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets, and synthesizing insights into actionable solutions).
- Industry experience in payments, e-commerce, or financial services is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to engage with multiple stakeholders and different teams to deliver BI solutions efficiently.
- Highly motivated, result-oriented self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to function well independently as well as in a team.
- Proficient in proactively gathering requirements and enhancing business value.
