Energy Data Analyst

We are looking for an Energy Data Analyst to help our growing team.

Position: Energy Data Analyst – Full Time

The primary role of this position is to gain understanding of the intricacies of energy markets and energy usage data to produce actionable intelligence. You’ll work with our analytical team, help manage client relationships, and deliver energy plans and strategies that meet our client’s needs.

This is a full-time position with a salary commensurate with experience. We also offer a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• University and/or college-educated in finance, commerce, engineering, mathematics or a related discipline, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.

• 2 years of statistical analysis and market research experience preferred
• Strong technical skills with MS Excel, Business Intelligence tools, and/or SQL
• Excellent communication skills, collaborating with and reporting to multiple teams in a lean environment
• Critical-thinking skills to identify trends in data and provide insight into results and outline recommendations.
• Inquisitive with strong analytical skills/A high-level capability of how to use analytics in problem solving
• Technical expertise regarding data preparation, data mining, and data modelling techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to automate data collection, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• A desire to learn and grow in this field
