DATA ENGINEER
UP TO £60,000 + BENEFITS
LONDON, CURRENTLY FLEXIBLE / REMOTE / HOMEWORKING
Harnham is partnered with a huge telecoms company that is looking to scale their Data team on the back of recent heavy investment. You will be joining a squad of Data Engineers with a focus on ensuring customer experience is fully optimised through facilitating real-time data.
The Company
You will be joining a multi-billion-pound company that is growing rapidly and so is looking to augment their data/digital function. This includes data analytics, engineering, and machine learning. You will be at the heart of adapting their current data platform and developing systems for the rest of the digital department. The company wants to be the best in industry and therefore need a brilliant data team to help them stand out from the rest.

The Role
- Using APIs to make predictions on broadband usage.
- Using GCP to help build and maintain pipelines.
- Working cross-functionally with Software Engineers, Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers and DevOps Engineers.
- Improving customer's experience of the company through projects focusing on broadband velocity
- Highly proficient in Python programming
- A good understanding of cloud architecture ideally within GCP
- Experience using data-warehouses such as BigQuery
- An appreciation of coding best practices e.g CI/CD
- Knowledge of streaming technologies e.g Kafka, Pub/Sub
