Our team is composed of over 90 data scientists and Data Engineers with specialized background in Supply Chain & Operations, 20% of which are PhD’s in the areas of Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or Statistics. We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer. A talented, fun, collaborative person willing to bring added knowledge to our Healthcare Research and Innovation Analytics Group. If you thrive working with top clients in the evolution of their data & AI journey… then, we’d like to meet you!

Your work:

H&LS AAI EU – working for our top clients in the healthcare practice in the evolution of their core systems and the implementation of new digital architectures. Our clients are belonging to the Health and Life Science industries and our services/projects can be transformational for all the company or focused on a particular area (R&D, Precision Health, Marketing, Patient services, etc.)

Your role:

Data engineers develop analytics-based solutions that produce quantitative and qualitative business insights. Work with partners as necessary to integrate systems and data quickly and effectively, regardless of technical challenges or business environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solve complex problems and provide sustainable solutions

  • Help to build and operate internal analytical platform

  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimising data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources

  • Work in an agile development environment

  • Participate in an on-call rotation along with the rest of the team

  • Use a wide variety of technologies, learn new things

  • Participate in diverse projects and collaborate with engineering, product, analytics teams


Key Skills

  • Driving data architecture and integration design and development discussions with engineering and other teams

  • Programming and automation of Data processing systems in Cloud/ environment

  • Ability to quickly master new technologies

  • Software development or DevOps/DataOps experience

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, occasionally interrupt-driven environment that includes geographically spread teams and customers

  • Experience in developing and operating high-volume, high-availability environments

  • Previous experience with Linux, Docker and Kubernetes

  • Previous experience with AWS or GCP

  • Good command of Python or Go

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, CS, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ideally, some experience / background in health or life science digital transformation

  • Data Engineering and Data Architecting in Clinical Environment

  • Cloud Technology (Azure)
