Lead Data Engineer

For one of our global clients from the Fintech, Software Egnineering industry, we're searching for a Lead Data Engineer.

You’re a perfect match for the role if:
  • You have great knowledge and understanding of Big Data tech stack (Apache Flink, Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Airflow)
  • You have experience with Azure Databricks
  • You are proficient in Golang language
  • You are proficient in Google's stack (Google Big Query, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager Server-side)
  • You are proficient in Microsoft's stack (MS SQL, MS SSIS and PowerBI)
  • You are proficient in tools like Kubernetes, Tableau and Ceph
  • You have great knowledge and understanding of Data Warehousing architecture patterns
  • You understand concepts of High Availability and Scalability on all levels of data processing
  • You have at least 4 years of experience in processing significant data volumes (DWH ETL, Big Data streaming or batch processing)
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in back-end application development
  • You have professional experience in a Data Engineering Lead or similar role
  • You’re able to work in a team and the ability to motivate others to achieve goals
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • You have a strategic and visionary approach
Your Responsibilities
  • Leading the Data Teams to deliver highly efficient and scalable data processing solutions
  • Opportunity to build your own team
  • Real impact on products development and full ownership over them
  • You will be one of the members of the Product Department
  • Supporting teams in translating objectives into refined backlog of tasks and activities
  • Implementing best practices for data management and quality assurance
  • Developing clear communication between the data teams and the rest of the organization
  • Designing and maintain complete company-wide analytical data architecture
  • Supporting the teams in architecture-related decision-making as a technical advisor
  • Daily cooperation with the Business and the Product department
  • Expecting solutions grounded in transparent research and technical experience
  • Remind teams of the company standards and technology department best practices
  • Maintaining and developing positive work culture within the team
  • Performing administrative tasks according to company policy towards managers
  • Constantly research bleeding-edge tech solutions
