Senior Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our team.

Two Impulse uses AI to help companies become more efficient and innovative. We automate processes using Natural Language Processing, build Chatbots and Voicebots for Customer Service, help companies with their data, build Machine Learning for forecasting, and develop software in the cloud around these topics.

You will have the option of working in any of the available groovy offices (Évora, Lisbon or Munich), or from the comfort of your home. Many of us work remotely.

The main point is that you'll be in touch with a great team who really enjoy working together.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will analyse data, build and deploy models, for our products and for our clients. More specifically, you will:

• Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
• Analyse large amounts of data to discover trends and patterns
• Process, clean, and verify the integrity of data
• Do ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
• Build, deploy and continuously improve ML models
• Create data visualisations
• Work with engineering, project and product teams
• Coach junior data scientists
  
  

We highly value individual experience and are not only interested in ticking boxes, nevertheless, there are some essential skills required to get the job done:

• +5 years of proven experience as Data Scientist or similar role
• PhD or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or another relevant area
• Experience in AI projects where Machine Learning, NLP, Clustering and/or Computer Vision was used
• Knowledge of tools and languages like in Python, SQL and frameworks like Spark/PySpark, or PyTorch and Tensorflow
• Great communication and presentation skills
• English Proficiency, both spoken and written
  
  

Nice skills that would be helpful to have:

• Experience using Business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI
• Experience with Palantir, Azure ML, Databricks, Spark or Hadoop
• Experience in Spark/pySpark
• German Language Skills
