What you get to do
  • You will be independently responsible for solutioning the business opportunities and challenges, data collection, processing, transformation, modelling, analysis and visualization of the output of your workstream.
  • You will see solutions in big and small data sets across internal and external sources of data.
  • You will use your business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company.
  • You will work closely with the project manager, manager, and leaders in the Transactional Category organization to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions.
  • You will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for the workstream.
  • You will use advanced data modelling, predictive modelling, and machine learning techniques to interpret key findings from company and external data and leverage these insights into initiatives that support business outcomes.
  • You will apply your exhaustive knowledge of data analysis to solve real-world problems and find opportunities for improvement across multiple projects, teams, and business units.
How you will be successful
  • Participating in business analysis activities to gather reporting and dashboard requirements for multiple strategic projects and programs.
  • Translating business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards created from multiple data sources.
  • Providing technical assistance and cross training to other team members and end users.
  • Designing and implementing technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes.
  • Creating a fully functioning Data Warehouse to help our customers and your team succeed.
  • Using data mining and ETL (extraction, transformation, loading) principles to facilitate the predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
  • Having experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Bringing strong SQL skills to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
  • Using your programming and scripting experience in Python, Java, and VBA Macro
  • Performing with moderate to low supervision.

  • Your analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities are factors for leaders of your team.
  • You are confident interacting with high-level individual contributors, managers, directors, executives, and program teams.
  • You are driven, self-motivated, well organized, and task oriented.
  • You understand the importance of collaborating with peers, junior engineers, data scientists, project teams, and senior staff.
  • You process strong verbal and written communication skills—mastery in English and your local language—with the ability to summarize complex topics into a succinct and logical stories or infographics.
  • Your effective communication brings results and allows you to negotiate options at all management levels.
  • You can lead multiple and complex projects requiring data engineering solutions development.
  • You drive design innovation.
Your education and experience
  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • Your 6-8 years of relevant experience including graduate or postgraduate research will bring value to the team on Day 1.
