SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and analyze large sets of data: source data, normalize/organize, maintain data integrity and work with relevant departmental counterparts for translation into clarity of business needs and insights.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, understand and address their data needs, such as the formation of KPIs/Metrics for performance and measurement, integration and reporting tools, and articulating data flow process and ownership expectations.
  • Document and inventory, as needed, the data environment including owners, definitions, uses, and governance requirements.
  • Identify areas for improvement and data integration and present recommendations to increase efficiency across functional areas.
  • Design and create reports, dashboards, and other visual / interactive solutions for current and visionary company needs.
  • Work with other teams to ensure protection of company information, including cybersecurity solutions and compliance of information protection with different regulations through enhancements to data architecture.
  • Plan, implement and support solutions in a dynamic and fluid environment.
  • Ensure that environmental or financial risk management reporting is conducted in a timely and professional manner to supervisor.
  • Respond to internal and external information requests in conjunction with directors, executive management and team member needs.
  • Actively participate within the organization to ensure all timberland management investment services meet or exceed client commitments.
  • Represent Campbell Global at all levels, maintaining positive public relations.
  • Provide backup and coverage support for Office & Facilities functions.
  • Appropriately handle and manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proofread and edit documents with accuracy, timeliness, and discernment.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries, report writing and visualization skills through scripting languages such as SQL, DAX, R and Python. Experience using data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Experience working on data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Forestry, or related field with 5 years of experience (or a Master's with 3 years of experience).
