We're looking for AI/ML Scientist who loves to solve complex problems and has experience with Natural Language processing and Machine learning
Summary:
At Datasite we are transforming the way companies do Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). We have the industry leading M&A platform: Datasite One that is built on modern micro-services based architecture. We are looking for talented data scientist to join our R&D team to build NLP and ML based solutions to deliver intelligent features in our products. As AI/ML Scientist, you will apply your knowledge of NLP and ML to build product features that use state of the art methods in entity extraction, clustering and classification. You will work with a talented team of scientists, engineers and product managers to perform rapid experiments to validate hypothesis for new and unique features.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and evaluate AI methods and model design options
- Establish model evaluation methods and metrics
- Develop pipelines to extract features from text data to build training and validation datasets
- Apply ML and NLP methods to large text data sets to create solutions that provide differentiating product features
- Prototype new models, evaluate with small scale experiments in rapid iterations
- Work with cross functional team of engineers and product managers to creatively build solutions.
Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of machine learning and deep learning applied to text data
- Strong working knowledge of Natural language processing
- Hands on coding experience with Python
- Experience with NLP, ML libraries like Tensorflow, keras, sklearn, PyTorch, spacy, NLTK, pandas
- Experience building ML pipelines from unstructured text data
- Ability to quickly learn, evaluate and apply emerging technology
- Fundamental understanding of data structures, algorithms and statistical methods used by ML models
Minimum Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience in machine learning, natural language processing
Minimum Experience
- Three plus years of industry experience in building machine learning models using Python
- Exposure to text mining, Natural Language Processing and Understanding
Additional Requirements
- Ability to interact with internal/external clients/customers in a professional manner.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in conjunction with team members and product groups.
- Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects is necessary, as well as the ability to rapidly acquire new domain familiarity.
