2021 Data Engineer Intern

Data Engineer in this internship role will work with Data Science team and Data Engineering team to analyze data on common platform and to develop engineered solutions to organize and transform data in order to meet requirements of give business use cases.

As a Data Engineer Intern at Cox Automotive you will:

• Learn about key domains of enterprise level data at Cox Automotive
• Learn about key technical capabilities needed to deliver solutions
• Work with Data Scientist to understand data requirements
• Work with other engineers to design technical solutions for given use cases
• Understand solution design and applications of what is being developed
• Create solutions with code that is readable, testable, flexible and performant
• Take ownership of the tasks assigned and following those through to completion
• Actively participate in team discussions
• Anticipate changing requirements and opportunities to improve solutions
• Work with product managers, designers, and engineers on the team to prioritize, plan and deliver work.
• Communicate status, risks and requirements to other groups.

Internship Details:

Duration of the internship is over the summer break and flexible on start and end dates. Your assigned team will work with you on both team and personal goals.

• You are enthusiastic and passionate about learning both business and technical environments
• You understand a high performing team to achieve more than the sum of its members.
• You believe that people come to work to do great things and you derive satisfaction from helping others to solve problems and to achieve common goals.
• Expected graduation is the year 2022 or 2023
