Advanced Analytics Practice (AAP) Center of Excellence (CoE) plays a role in achieving Nokia’s business targets and commercial strategy definition. It consists of experts with various backgrounds providing an In-house centralized resource for Nokia Business teams to bring their ideas and challenges for data analytic implementation to augment and speed decisions, reduce costs, and improve quality.

In this position you will be responsible for developing and managing the next generation, global Analytics-as-a-Service environment to support Nokia business analysts as well as support our own team to deliver projects for Nokia groups without expertise. Also in scope of our CoE is to launch new services like Data Pipelining, Data Cataloging, Process Mining. The Advanced Analytics Practice team is looking for proactive members who will have a key role in its development and maintenance. This is a hands-on technical role using state-of-art Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platforms in a dynamic agile environment, working directly with business and data owners, architects, developers, and test engineers.


What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

  • Designing & Developing operational smart, scalable, robust platforms in Azure Platforms
  • Responsible for building and maintaining the business intelligent solutions from requirements, architecture, design, code development, through production deployment and post-deployment technical support
  • Responsible for the overall solution design using Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Azure stand-alone components (ADF, ASQL DB, AAS)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in global environment, with proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Experience of data base scripting using SQL on SQL Server. Understanding and experience on database programming and optimization.
  • Experience with Azure Data services like Azure Data Factory, Azure security model, and Azure Data Lake
  • Experience creating data pipelines and activities using Azure and On-Prem data stores for full and incremental data loads into a Cloud DW
  • Background in data driving topics: ETL, Data modeling, Data warehouse & security
  • Programing and querying skills with any of the following: T-SQL, DAX, PowerShell, C#, Python
  • Experience with Agile methodology and DevOps approach using GIT or TFS a plus
