BHJOB15656_16490 - Senior Data Engineer

Myticas Consulting is looking to hire a remote or hybrid Data Engineer for a top e-commerce client of ours.

The data engineer we are looking for must have fundamental Data Experience with SQL to work end to end to gather data from suppliers to send data back and forth between the client and the suppliers. Solid Python skills are needed build custom pipelines with Python from batch and real time data within SQL.

The position will pay up to $150K if the candidate has done similar work at a previous employer. This position can be direct hire or contract to hire. Must be eligible to work for any employer without sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline development:
  • Participate in Requirements Gathering: work with key business partner groups, ie... Product Management and other Data Engineers
  • Design Data Pipelines: work with other Data Engineers on an overall design for flowing data from various sources.
  • Build Data Pipelines to leverage standard toolsets and develop ETL/ELT code to move data.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 8+ years of Python Development
• Demonstrated experience with back-end and semantic layer data modeler
• Experience with ETL / ELT designer and developer
• Proficiency with SQL database administration and operations experience
• Experience with Cloud environment development and operations.

Addition Nice to Have Skills:

• Airflow, spark, terraform and Mongo DB.
