Data Analyst & Business Analyst Associate (Software Company)

Role And Responsibilities

The Data Analyst & Business Analyst Associate will work in a dynamic data environment with constantly evolving business requirements. The main responsibilities include:

  • Learning and fully understanding the data landscape in databases and applications, primarily SQL and Incorta.
  • Reviewing and validating data, including development and automation of data validation process.
  • Gathering end-user reporting and dashboard requirements from various cross-functional and regional teams.
  • Developing dashboards, creating new reports, and supporting end-users with running and maintenance of existing reports using BI Tools and SQL.
  • Being responsible for monthly reconciliation of SQL Incorta data and qualitative review of key categories such as customers, products, branches, etc.
  • Regular data status sharing across the organization.
  • Developing documentation on existing or new reports and models.
  • Collaborating with functional and IT roles, primarily located in LKQ Europe and LKQ India, to evaluate business requirements and advise on appropriate reporting practices and dashboards.
  • Comprehending and translating complex data and technical topics into understandable business language.
  • Performing other assigned duties.

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Education: Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Science.
  • Experience:4-7 years of experience with data-related activities from a complex international environment.
  • Experience with any BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikSense, QlikView, or Cognos.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills along with the ability to effectively communicate with multinational and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-starter and result-oriented, with fluent English (verbal and written) and advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Ability to work and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, initiate solutions, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Stay abreast of reporting technologies and their application in a changing environment.
  • Basic financial orientation, especially P&L and Gross Margin.
