Working as a Data Analyst at XPO Logistics - Tilburg

As a Data Analyst you will get started with the operational data resulting from the logistics operation. It is up to you to get the right key and control numbers from the organization, taking into account the KPIs, budgets and various forecasts. In consultation with your colleagues from, among others, the finance department, you will arrive at accurate and correct calculations.

XPO Logistics works with different systems, so all data is processed in Excel. Extensive knowledge of Excel is therefore essential. In this challenging position you report to the Continious improvement manager and work closely with your fellow data analyst, the data specialist and the site controllers. The work will be carried out on a day shift.

Other activities:

• Managing, analyzing and maintaining operational data as input for the weekly figures
• Providing support in forecasting (monthly) results
• Prepare KPI reports to the customer
• Identifying inefficiencies in operational processes and proposing improvements
• Performing preliminary work for the budget process
• Preparation of various analytical reports

What do you own:

• At least MBO+/HBO completed in business economics or business administration
• Extensive knowledge of Excel is a prerequisite
• You are communicatively strong and like to roll up your sleeves
• You can think analytically and make connections between the different departments
• Experience within a logistics / industrial working environment is a plus, but not a must
• Good command of the English language in words and writings
• Accurate and honest

Your working environment
You will work as a Data Analyst in a modern warehouse that has been built and located in Tilburg since 2016. In this warehouse of 65,000 m2 you are responsible for the figures of the operation. You will work together with various departments. The composition of your future colleagues consists of a mix of different nationalities of young and old. The atmosphere there is informal and cozy.
