My client is a well-established multinational company seeking a Data Engineer for their digitalization projects.

Job Description

• Migrate data pipelines from Informatica to Databricks
• Develop and maintain data processing pipelines, data integration processes, and ETL workflow
• Ensure that systems can process, analyze, and interpret large amounts of data quickly, safely, and efficiently
• Create and optimize the data platform to ensure efficient data storage and management
• Understanding business requirements and sharing advice/solutions for those needs
• Assist in generating data visualizations and reports for different business units
• Define data standards and policies for the company, and also implement data quality control, and achieve data security and compliance
  
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years experience in migrating data pipelines from Informatica to Databricks.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle 12c, ADW, MSSQL, and MYSQL.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL for data processing and transformation.
• Solid understanding of data governance and security principles.
• Experience in maintaining data lineage documentation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
