Data Analyst

Azion is a fast-paced technology company that builds industry-leading cloud products and services. We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join the Data Science team which is composed by Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Analysts. In this exciting role, you’ll combine your experience, passion, and enthusiasm for analysing data and discovering insights to help Azion drive its decisions.

You are a data driven problem solver with strong analytical thinking. You can think independently, know how to analyse data and have at least basic knowledge in statistics. You have a strong overall business knowledge. You have good communication skills (both in English and Portuguese), storytelling and know how to build dashboards and present your findings.

What you will do

• Work with Azion's data team to bring insights to drive business decisions.
• Work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to create, define, track and improve metrics and KPIs.
• Partner with our Data Engineers to improve data collection and quality.
• Provide support to Products, Engineering, Finance, Operation and Revenue with quantitative and qualitative analysis to make recommendations and help them make the right decisions.
• Build analysis, dashboards and reports to track business metrics and KPIs.

Minimum qualifications:

• Experience with SQL, data modeling, dashboarding and reporting
• Experience with dashboarding tools (eg. Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Google Data Studio, etc)
• Experience with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
• Experience translating analysis results into business recommendations and business questions into an analysis framework
• Strong communication skills
• Basic statistics
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese

Desired Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative fields
• Strong Tableau Skills
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with Python or R
• Strong Google Slides or MS PowerPoint and Storytelling skills
• Experience with Data Warehousing and Data Building Tool (DBT)
• Regressions, A/B Testing
• Data Analysis/Science/Engineering certifications
• Experience in delivering business insights at high growth companies.
