Job Description

Principal Data Engineer - 6 months - £600 p/d (Outside IR35)

Our globally known ecommerce travel client is now in need of a Principal Data Engineer to be at the forefront of advancing their data platforms and data products. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data engineer to craft the foundation of the data platforms and to improve our client’s business through data driven innovation to drive up the technical standards.

The Principal data Engineer will be proficient with Sparks and Databricks as well as SQL and AWS, and be able to design scalable architectures to ensure performance and cost optimisation. This is a great opportunity for a well experienced Data Engineer to make a decisive impact on our clients data and to shape the technical future of the organisation.

Requirements

• Sparks
• 5+ years of progressive responsibility in the field of data engineering.
• Databricks
• SQL
• AWS
• Data handling
• Platform engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  
  

Duration: 6-months

Pay: £600 p/d (Outside IR35)

Location: London (once a week onsite)
