About your role as Founder | Data Engineer:

We are looking for a Data Engineer who will support us in the mining of our client's data, to elaborate effective campaign mechanics and support the BI team to best handle data and information, collaborating to the operational excellence in L campaigns. They must have strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building, and implementing models, using/creating algorithms and creating/running simulations. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. They must be able to understand business rules and manipulate databases to enhance the Business Intelligence department processes.

In this role you will report to the Head of BI.

Other activities:

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the ETL process;
• Automatise routines, processes and strategies developed by the BI team;
• Mine and analyse data from company and client databases to drive optimisation and improvement in our campaigns;
• Transform and link databases following business rules and performances’ best practices so they can be used to create reports in many different data visualisation tools;
• Identify gaps and mitigate gaps on the data exchange process with external sources, collaborating to its automatisation.

About the successful candidate:

We are looking for a culture fit, for that Founder mindset. As Data Engineer, you also match the following criteria:

• 2+ years of experience on manipulating data sets;
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in a relevant field: Computer science, mathematics, physics or statistics;
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data;
• Experience with complex data warehouses;
• Experience with BI Tools (Power BI, QlikView, Cognos);
• Knowledge of Azure data services is a plus;
• Experience with agile way of working;
• Fluency in English;
• Experience working with and creating data architectures;
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
