As a Data scientist at Sweetspot you will primarily work with our Dynamic Pricing. We have an advanced data model for delivering the exact right price, and optimising thousands of price points in milliseconds. As an important member of the data science team you will also be in charge of delivering import data and intel to the organisation and our clients. We are looking for a person with a highly developed analytical skill and an interest in the ever growing accumulation of massive amounts of data. You also have as a data scientist enough business acumen to tackle the complex business optimisation challenges.

Professional qualifications and skills

• Strong programming skills
• Minimum 3 years of experience from data science
• Python (numpy/scipy, Flask, SQLAlchemy), SQL, AWS, API development
• Relevant university degree (preferably bachelor’s or master’s in Computer Science)

Bonus if you have experience of:

• Business/finance
• Machine learning
• PHP/backend development
• Metabase (or similar data visualisation tool)
• Experience from working fast growing company
• Golf
