Are you a Data Engineer with experience in the world of Data Warehouses and Business Intelligence who is triggered to work as a digital pioneer that is transforming the bakery world? Do you feel energized by a customer- & business oriented position in a faced paced environment?
To accelerate the realization of our digital strategy, we are hiring a
Data Engineer to join our Digital Team.
As a member of the team, you will drive & act as one of the internal subject matter experts for our cloud-based platform and ensures that the data sources & associated data sets are actionable & maintained for the benefit of our cluster – covering Belgium – Netherlands – France – Italy & Spain.
Your Primary Responsibilities Are
You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure necessary to support our organization's data-driven initiatives.
- Data Modeling : Creating and maintaining data models that are optimized for data storage and retrieval.
- Data Ingestion : Developing and implementing processes to acquire data from various sources, such as databases, APIs, and data streams.
- Data Transformation : Transforming data from its raw form into a format that is optimized for analysis, such as cleansing, normalization, and aggregation.
- Data Storage : Implementing and managing data storage systems that are designed to handle large volumes of data and provide high availability.
- Data Pipeline : Designing and building data pipelines that move data through various stages of processing, from ingestion to transformation to analysis.
Your Profile - In addition to a higher education in Computer Science, Software Engineering (or any related field) you have minimal 3 years of experience in a BI environment/Data Engineering/ Data Warehouse environment.
- You demonstrate experience in the following technical areas :
- Transforming business requirements into a data model
- Building cloud solutions (i.e. Azure, Google Cloud or AWS)
- Scripting and data processing (piping)
- Structuring huge data into aggregated data sets
The Skillset We Are Looking For Comprehends
- Database Modeling
- SQL
- Basic knowledge of programming languages
- Report building
- APIs and integrations
- Proficient level of English & Dutch acquired
Would Be Nice If You Have
- Experience with Power BI or other dashboard tool
- Dev-Ops and CI/CD
