About The Role
As a
Regulatory Data Engineer within the Data Analytics & Reporting Solutions (DARS) team, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide data solutions that empower Customer Markets and the broader AGL business.
You will collaborate closely with our technical data team, reporting team, and other key business units to elevate our current processes and seamlessly implement upcoming regulatory changes. Your role will also contribute to the transition from legacy data platforms to our central enterprise data platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain all regulatory scripts, including updates and deployments on GitHub.
- Translate SAP knowledge into user-friendly data solutions.
- Provide agile support to stakeholders, addressing their needs promptly.
- Collaborate with the reporting team to execute quarterly BAU functions.
- Identify and plan initiatives for enhancing the end-to-end regulatory return process.
- Offer technical assistance to address inquiries from business partners and regulators.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft technology and data architectures, including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, SQL, Excel, and PowerBI.
- Proven experience with data migration projects.
- A track record of developing and managing large and complex data solutions.
- A passion for leveraging data intelligently to enhance stakeholder experiences.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- A team-oriented, self-starting attitude with a can-do mindset, adaptable to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Expertise in data ingestion, data modelling, and data transformation.
