As a Senior Statistical Healthcare Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of client products by translating business needs into data-driven deliverables and analyses. Your work will involve collaborating closely with clients to design and develop solutions, utilizing Health assets, and providing valuable insights through data analysis. In addition, you will define and report on external requests for data analyses, actively participating in client-facing project meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients to design and develop solutions for complex healthcare analyses.
Work closely with the Health team to structure and present client results and analyses.
Analyze healthcare claims data to identify trends, salient information, and actionable insights.
Apply various healthcare and statistical methodologies to create reports and analytics that deliver actionable, value-infused information.
Evaluate and validate data and data element combinations to ensure accuracy and completeness of reporting results.
Requirements
Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Analytics, or Public Health with a strong quantitative emphasis.
Proficiency in advanced statistical modeling, including generalized linear models.
5+ years of experience in working with healthcare data, performing reporting, and delivering analytics for both internal and external audiences.
Exceptional problem-solving skills, including in-depth data research on healthcare cost and utilization drivers.
Strong understanding of healthcare coding (CPT, ICD, HCPCS, revenue codes, DRG).
In-depth knowledge of the current healthcare market space and dynamics.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work from our New York City office or remotely.
